Incorporated in 1961 The Alsip Chamber of Commerce was organized to advance the commercial, agricultural, industrial, civic and general interests of the Village of Alsip and to assemble and represent the opinions of our members to assure the continuation of conditions favorable to business in Alsip.

The Chamber board is comprised of representatives from local businesses, and a representative from the Alsip Fire Department & The Alsip Police Department.

Still today the Alsip Chamber of Commerce works to further the interests of the business community. The Chamber is the “a trade association” for Alsip businesses with the common interest being their location in Alsip. Most business owners don’t live in the community where their company is located, and Alsip is no different. They rely on the Chamber to keep them informed about what’s happening in the Village that affects their business..
